Chye Thiam Maintenance Pte Ltd (CTM) was founded in 1979 and the Group is privileged to be an active participant in the Singapore growth story. CTM witnessed the opening of Changi Airport, the launch of Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and weathered through difficult times such as the economic and health crisis.
Today, CTM is an established integrated cleaning and waste management group that employs more than 1,800 employees, with notable clientele that includes Changi Airport Group, Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, National Environment Agency (NEA) and The Esplanade, amongst others.
Affirming its sustainability efforts, CTM now has a material recovery facility as well as an E-waste recycling facility. It has also managed to stay competitive by adhering to its 4 guiding pillars, namely: People, Performance, Progress and Preservation. In 2016, CTM formed its pandemic response team and was a pandemic responder to a few government agencies. With the recent pandemic situation, the past experiences accumulated allowed CTM to act quickly to respond to market demands.
With a constant pursuit of business excellence, supported by progressive investments in technology, sound HR policies and sustainable corporate initiatives, CTM came in 6th position at the 2019 Enterprise 50 Award in its maiden participation.
