The inaugural CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESS) Catalyst, organised by the National Environment Agency, was held on 4 and 5 October 2017 as a lead-up to CleanEnviro Summit Singapore in July 2018. The by-invitation event was themed Industry 4.0 – Circular Economy and Environment Perspectives, reflecting its position as a platform for thought leaders, policy makers, and industry captains to address global environmental challenges, the implications of Industry 4.0 on the environment, and the availability of technologies to support and promote the Circular Economy.
More than 150 participants comprising the world's top environment and urban planning leaders from both the public and private sectors attended sessions facilitated by renowned speakers such as Dr Marcus Gover, CEO, WRAP UK and Dr Kamil Agi President, CEO SensorComm who shared their insights in the Industry 4.0 revolution and its impact on today’s businesses.
These exclusive sessions also included site visits to prominent industry locations such as Advanced Remanufacturing & Technology Centre, which provided participants with insightful perspectives on how policies and ideas have been successfully implemented.
