Sustainability Summit

 

The Sustainability Summit will examine policies, innovations and international collaborations from a strategic standpoint, to address low carbon transition and the environmental needs and challenges of growing cities.

2024’s theme is “Towards a Net Zero City”. The plenaries will focus on accelerating climate action and decarbonisation leading up to COP29, resource resilience and other sustainability topics of interest in the Asia-Pacific region.

Achieving net zero emissions has become more pressing due to global and economic uncertainties. This panel will delve into innovative solutions for sustainability while exploring the anticipated impact post-COP28 on these solutions and the real-world implementation of low carbon solutions.

Summit Plenary 2: Panel on Low Carbon Transition

In the current landscape, it is increasingly critical for businesses to embrace a low-carbon transition. This panel will explore the multi-faceted approach on developing and adopting decarbonisation solutions, leveraging blended and transition finance, and the use of carbon financing in propelling industries towards a low-carbon transition.
